The park

Today we awoke to another cloudy but dry day.
After breakfast we decided to take a walk through Hong Kong park.

The surroundings are lush and green in the center of this busy city. The only problem was that because of the major storm that hit Hong Kong a month ago, the tea house, aviary and zoological park were closed. We could see that the park sustained a lot of damage. While we were there the sun came out and we had a beautiful day to enjoy.

We returned to the hotel for a bit and then went to Crystal Jade for lunch, and enjoyed the hotel pool in the afternoon.

Tonight we had dinner at Hutong. Our dinner was great, and we had a window side table. The views across the harbour of Hong Kong are stunning at night.

After dinner we walked back to the ferry and loved the view from the water.
My cousin Fran arrived from Philadelphia right before we returned from dinner, so we met up in the lounge for a few minutes. Tomorrow we will start exploring, and our adventures will continue.
